Role Description This is a full-time, in office Government Sales Manager role based in Hyderabad. The Government Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle with government and public sector clients, from prospecting and lead qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and closure.



The role includes building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in government agencies, understanding their operational and technical needs, and aligning Pelorus solutions to those requirements. Day-to-day activities involve preparing and delivering presentations and demos, coordinating responses to RFPs and tenders, and collaborating closely with technical, product, and legal teams to ensure compliant and competitive bids. The Government Sales Manager will also track sales performance, maintain accurate account and pipeline records, and provide regular forecasts and market feedback to leadership to support business planning.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Sales and Sales Processes, with experience managing complete sales cycles in government or public sector environments.
• Strong Account Management and Customer Satisfaction focus, with a track record of building trusted, long-term client relationships.
