Mainstreet is a Mumbai-based D2C company behind the Mainstreet Marketplace (sneakers, streetwear and apparel) and BUILT, our natural-movement footwear brand. We are looking for a performance-minded copywriter to create and improve Meta ads that help customers understand why BUILT is worth choosing.

The role
You will work with our growth team on the words and creative concepts behind paid social. The focus is direct-response: sharp hooks, clear product stories and UGC-style scripts that earn attention and give us useful tests. You'll see how creative performs and use that learning to improve the next iteration.

What you'll do
- Write and test hooks, angles and short-form UGC ad scripts for Meta
- Turn product details, customer reviews and common questions into specific creative ideas
- Work with the team to develop briefs and concepts for creators and shoots
- Review creative performance with the growth team and iterate on messaging based on results
- Maintain a practical backlog of current hooks and concepts to test

What we're looking for
- 1-3 years writing direct-response,



performance ad or conversion-focused copy; D2C or e-commerce experience is a plus
- Strong instincts for short-form social: clear opening hooks, natural spoken language and good pacing
- Ability to turn a product benefit or customer insight into several distinct creative angles
- Comfortable working with performance data and using results to improve creative
- Mumbai-based and able to work with the team in person
- Examples of relevant ad copy, UGC scripts or other short-form work are useful, but the application exercise below is what we will use for the first screen

Bonus: an interest in sneakers, streetwear, fitness or natural-movement footwear.

Compensation: ₹50,000-₹75,000 per month, depending on experience.
