About the Role
K3 Innovations is hiring a Business Development Executive to win recent clients for our contract research services among pharma, biotech, and medical device companies. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will own the early pipeline: finding prospects, qualifying them, and moving them to the proposal stage. You will sit at the intersection of science and business, working with global clients and our scientific teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and research prospective clients across pharma, biotech, and medical device companies in the US and India
• Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and industry databases
• Qualify leads by understanding each client’s study needs, timelines, budget, and decision-makers
• Schedule discovery calls and meetings for the Business Development Manager and scientific teams




• Keep accurate records of leads, opportunities, and activities in the CRM
• Track competitor activity, pricing trends, and new opportunities in the CRO market
• Represent K3 Innovations at conferences, trade shows, and industry events, and follow up on the contacts you make
• Meet monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads, meetings, and pipeline value

Qualifications
Education: B.Tech in Biotechnology, or a graduate degree in Biotechnology or a related life science (B.Sc, B.Pharm, Microbiology, Biochemistry)
Experience: 1–2 years as a Business Development Representative, Business Development Executive, or in inside sales
Industry knowledge:
• Good understanding of the CRO industry, including the services CROs offer and how pharma and biotech companies outsource research
• Experience selling to pharma, biotech, or life science clients (preferred)
