About Comply Ark
Comply Ark is a regulatory infrastructure company building software for data protection compliance under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). Our platform, DataLens, starts where every compliance programme has to start: finding and mapping the personal data an organisation holds across its systems. Data discovery is available today, and the modules for consent, data principal rights, breach response and governance are rolling out in phases. Personal data stays inside the customer's own infrastructure and only metadata reaches the cloud, which matters most to the buyers who need DPDPA compliance most: banks, hospitals and any organisation that cannot hand its data to a vendor.
Comply Ark was founded by a former data protection lawyer and a software architect, and is backed by ISB and IIIT Hyderabad.

Why now
The DPDP Rules, 2025 were notified in November 2025, and organisations must be fully compliant by May 2027. Compliance programmes typically take 6 to 12 months to implement, so Indian organisations are deciding how they will comply right now.





The role
You will build Comply Ark's sales function and own recent business for DataLens end to end: generating your own pipeline, running conversations with the people who own privacy risk, and closing. You will report to the Founder and CEO and work closely with the founding team, including our partnerships function, which hands deals over to you once they reach a customer conversation.
You start as an individual contributor selling across three sectors: healthcare (hospitals, pharma, health tech), financial services (banks, NBFCs, fintechs, insurers) and retail (marketplaces, e-commerce, consumer and fashion brands). As the business grows, you will hire, train and lead a team of sector-focused sales associates, and the sales function will be shaped around how you work.
