About the Role
CITiLIGHT is seeking a IoT QA Engineer to ensure that our smart lighting hardware and software work together reliably in real-world deployments. In this role, you will be responsible for testing IoT devices end-to-end through our software platform, verifying device commands and data, investigating issues, and supporting the continuous improvement of product quality.

The ideal candidate brings a logical and structured approach to problem-solving, robust attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn across IoT, hardware, networking, and software. This role is hands-on and requires close collaboration with firmware, hardware, and software teams to identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the full stack.

Key Responsibilities
• Test IoT devices including NEMA, Zhaga, pole-mount controllers, CCMS, and related systems end-to-end through the software platform.
• Verify that commands such as switching, dimming, and scheduling reach devices correctly.
• Validate that device data including status, energy, alarms, and other telemetry is accurately reflected on the platform dashboard.
• Write and execute test cases for new features, software releases, and firmware updates.
• Find, reproduce, and clearly document bugs using steps to reproduce, logs, screenshots, and other relevant evidence.
