Junior Design Engineer – GT Solve
GT Solve is looking for a Junior Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Vandalur, Chennai.
If you’re a fresher or have 1-2 year of experience and are passionate about mechanical /automotive / aerospace design, CAD, and engineering automation, we’d love to hear from you
? What You’ll Work On• Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings
• Work with GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and engineering design principles
• Modify existing designs based on engineering requirements
• Explore CAD automation and scripting to improve design workflows
• Develop and test simple scripts to automate repetitive engineering tasks
⭐ What We’re Looking ForCAD – Major Focus
• Robust proficiency in Siemens UG NX 12+ — highly preferred
• Experience with Dassault CATIA V5/V6 / ENOVIA will also be considered
Engineering Fundamentals
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes:
• Casting | Molding | Sheet Metal | Machining
• Basic understanding of GD&T; and tolerance stack-up analysis
Programming & Automation
• Basic Python knowledge
• Familiarity with os, sys, or CAD-specific APIs is a plus
• Foundational understanding of NX Open, CATIA VBA/CAA, or macro recording
? Who Can Apply?• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma (+3 years) in Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering
• Freshers are welcome
• Certification in UG NX / CATIA / GD&T; is a major plus
• Immediate joiners preferred
