Job Summary

The Ground Sales Head – Dealer & Distributor Development will drive market expansion and strengthen our dealer and distributor network for Medical Device products.

The incumbent will be responsible for identifying and appointing channel partners, developing new markets, driving product movement, ensuring regular orders and collections, and managing ground-level sales activities and team performance.

The ideal candidate should have robust experience in dealer/distributor appointment, channel development, field sales and market expansion, preferably within the medical devices, healthcare, medical equipment or allied industries.

Key Responsibilities

1 Identify, evaluate and appoint suitable dealers and distributors across assigned territories.
2 Drive new market development through effective channel partner identification and onboarding.
3 Ensure proper dealer/distributor onboarding, product training and first-order placement.
4 Conduct regular market visits and meet dealers, distributors, customers and other key stakeholders.
5 Drive product promotion,



market penetration and brand visibility at the ground level.
6 Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through effective channel management.
7 Generate regular and repeat orders from dealers/distributors.
8 Monitor distributor stock, secondary sales, product movement and market coverage.
9 Track inactive and non-performing dealers/distributors and implement corrective measures.
10 Develop strong and long-term relationships with channel partners.
11 Manage and guide the field sales team to achieve territory-wise business objectives.
12 Review territory performance, sales pipeline, market potential and competitor activities.
13 Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from channel partners.
14 Identify new business opportunities and strengthen presence in existing and new territories.
