Job Description
We are looking for experienced IBM InfoSphere DataStage Developers with strong hands-on expertise in ETL development, SQL, Unix/Linux, and enterprise data integration. Candidates should be capable of designing, developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing DataStage jobs for complex business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Analyze existing DataStage jobs and understand end-to-end data flows.
• Develop and enhance DataStage jobs based on business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and optimize ETL jobs for performance and reliability.
• Work with SQL and Unix/Linux for data processing and ETL activities.
• Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts.
• Work with enterprise job scheduling tools such as AutoSys.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production-support activities.
• For senior profiles, provide technical guidance and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Must-Have Skills
• Strong hands-on development experience in IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Experience designing and developing complex ETL jobs and workflows.
• Solid knowledge of SQL.
• Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
• Strong understanding of ETL and data integration concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting and performance-tuning ETL jobs.
Good-to-Have Skills
• Unix Shell Scripting
• AutoSys/JIL
• IBM Cloud technologies
• DataStage modernization or cloud-migration exposure
• CI/CD and version-control experience
