About the Role
Pune Institute of Business Management is looking for an experienced and academically oriented Assistant Professor / Subject Faculty – Digital Marketing to join our academic team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality classroom teaching, mentoring students, developing academic content, and integrating practical industry knowledge into the learning experience. The candidate should have strong expertise in digital marketing strategies, performance marketing, social media marketing, SEO, and digital advertising, along with the ability to conduct practical sessions using industry-relevant tools and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academic Delivery
• Deliver engaging and industry-oriented lectures on Digital Marketing and Performance Marketing.
• Develop lesson plans, presentations, case studies, assignments, projects and assessments.




• Teach digital marketing concepts through practical examples, live projects, simulations and industry case studies.
• Conduct hands-on sessions on Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, social media marketing, content marketing and marketing analytics.
• Ensure effective delivery of the prescribed curriculum within academic timelines.
• Continuously update subject knowledge based on emerging digital marketing trends, tools and industry developments.

Student Mentoring
• Mentor students on academic, professional and career-related matters.
• Guide students in live projects, digital marketing campaigns, presentations, case studies and competitions.
• Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Help students develop industry-relevant digital marketing, campaign management and analytical skills.
• Guide students in building digital marketing portfolios and preparing for industry placements.
