Position Overview
The Cloud Application Development Engineer will design, develop, deploy, and support scalable cloud-native applications and distributed services.
This role requires hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, AWS serverless and container platforms, event-streaming technologies, cloud databases, and AI-assisted development tools.
The engineer will collaborate with product, architecture, platform, DevOps, quality engineering, and security teams to deliver reliable solutions aligned with business and healthcare technology requirements.

Responsibilities
• Design, build, test, and maintain cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and Python.
• Develop secure, reusable,



and well-documented REST APIs and microservices following enterprise engineering standards.
• Build and support serverless and event-driven workloads using AWS Lambda.
• Deploy and operate containerized applications on Amazon EKS, applying Kubernetes-based scaling, availability, and resiliency practices.
• Design effective data-access patterns and integrations using Amazon DynamoDB.
• Develop and maintain real-time streaming and asynchronous processing solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Use GitHub Copilot and Cursor responsibly to accelerate coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and technical documentation.
• Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure accuracy, security, performance, and compliance with engineering standards.
• Contribute to solution design, technical estimation, code reviews, test automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
