About the Role
We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our engineering team and work on the design and development of industrial equipment and systems.
The role involves taking designs from concept to manufacturing, preparing detailed engineering drawings, developing 3D models, and working closely with production and project teams to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and production-ready.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop 2D and 3D designs.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and related documentation.
• Work on product customization based on project and customer requirements.
• Perform basic mechanical and design calculations wherever required.
• Select suitable materials, components, and hardware based on design requirements.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, quality, and project teams for smooth execution.
• Review designs for manufacturability, functionality, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing and assembly.
• Modify and improve existing products and designs based on production feedback.
• Maintain proper revision control and engineering documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, specifications, and company requirements.
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design and engineering fundamentals.
• Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T;, mate
