Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven General Manager – Event Operations with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, predominantly in banquet operations, five-star hotels, luxury hospitality properties and convention centres.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in managing high-volume banquet operations, large-scale events, venue management, guest services and multidisciplinary operational teams.

The role involves overseeing the complete operational functioning of The Zora, ensuring seamless event execution,



exceptional hospitality standards, effective resource management and operational efficiency across all event spaces.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Banquet & Event Operations Management

• Lead and oversee end-to-end banquet and event operations across all venues within The Zora.
• Manage the execution of large-scale weddings, receptions, corporate events, conferences, exhibitions and VIP gatherings.
• Ensure seamless coordination between banquet operations, food and beverage, housekeeping, engineering, security and event production teams.
• Supervise event setups, venue layouts, guest movement, service execution and event closures.
• Oversee multiple simultaneous events while maintaining consistent service standards.
• Ensure operational readiness of venues before every event.
