Role & responsibilities
Focus Area 1 — SLT Coordination & Engagement (Primary)
• Onboarding support: Assist new volunteers with paperwork (Volunteer Agreement Forms, Sustainability Plans) and orientation.
• Progress tracking: Maintain regular touchpoints with SLTs (helps in engagement of all 60+ Volunteer) to track annual-plan progress and gather section updates.
• Engagement:



Help coordinate inter-section engagement activities (PSRP recognition participation).
• Feedback loop: Collate SLT feedback and surface support needs to the coordinator.
Note: All member (non-SLT) communication remains staff-sent per GDPR/DPDP; the intern's direct outreach is limited to SLTs/volunteers, not general members.

3. Focus Area 2 — Outreach & Partnership Coordination (Primary)
• Speaker outreach: Support speaker, chief-guest, and guest-of-honour outreach — drafting invitations, tracking confirmations, and maintaining the outreach pipeline.
• Membership pipeline: Assist in college and industry outreach to build the membership and engagement lead pipeline.
• Promotion: Support event promotion across LinkedIn, the ASME India forum, and section channels.
• Repository: Maintain the outreach & speaker repository as a reusable BU asset.
