About the RoleWe are looking for a passionate and engaging Food Literacy Facilitator / Child Food Educator based in Kolkata to conduct interactive food literacy workshops for school students from Classes 1 to 9.
The ideal candidate may be a Nutritionist, Dietitian, Food Educator, Child Nutrition Qualified or someone from a related field, but most importantly, should have hands-on experience conducting workshops, activities or educational sessions with children.
This is not a purely nutrition-focused role. We are specifically looking for someone who can translate food and nutrition concepts into engaging, age-appropriate and interactive learning experiences for children.
Key Responsibilities• Conduct engaging Food Literacy Workshops for students from Classes 1 to 9.
• Deliver sessions in an interactive and child-friendly manner.
• Explain food, nutrition and healthy eating concepts using age-appropriate language.
• Conduct activities, discussions,



demonstrations and practical exercises with students.
• Adapt workshop content and delivery according to different age groups.
• Encourage students to ask questions and actively participate in sessions.
• Make food education fun, practical and relatable for children.
• Manage classroom engagement and maintain students' attention throughout the workshop.
• Coordinate with the school and internal team before and during the workshop.
• Follow the workshop structure, learning objectives and facilitation guidelines provided by the organisation.
• Share feedback and observations after conducting the sessions.
