Role Overview
The Data Engineer – Databricks AI & Power BI Reporting Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions, analytical reporting, and AI-enabled insights using Databricks, Power BI, and AWS. The ideal candidate should have 4–7 years of relevant experience in data engineering, Databricks-based analytics and reporting, and Power BI report development. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in developing interactive Power BI dashboards, transforming and analyzing data in Databricks, and building scalable data pipelines to support business intelligence and AI-driven reporting requirements. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, data architects, analytics teams, and implementation partners to deliver reliable, high-quality, and performance-optimized reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop,



and maintain interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to meet business and analytical requirements.
• Develop and optimize Databricks notebooks, SQL queries, and data transformation workflows using Python, PySpark, and Spark SQL.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using AWS and Databricks to support reporting, analytics, and AI-related use cases.
• Prepare, transform, validate, and integrate data from multiple source systems for reporting and analysis.
• Implement and maintain Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers using Databricks and Delta Lake.
• Develop effective data models, relationships, measures, and calculated columns using Power BI and DAX.
• Connect Power BI to Databricks and other data sources to deliver accurate, reliable, and timely business insights.
• Work with AI/ML-enabled analytics and reporting capabilities in Databricks to support predictive insights and advanced analytics
