About the Role
Aksharum is looking for 3 motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic QA Interns to join our engineering team. This opportunity is ideal for students, fresh graduates, and aspiring software testers who want to build a strong foundation in Software Quality Assurance and Software Testing through hands-on experience with real-world applications.
As a QA Intern, you will work closely with developers and the product team to understand requirements, test new features, identify defects, and help ensure that our applications deliver a reliable and high-quality user experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Understand business and technical requirements.

• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

• Perform functional testing of web applications.

• Perform regression testing after recent features and bug fixes.

• Perform UI, usability, and cross-browser testing.

• Identify, document,



and track bugs with clear reproduction steps.

• Retest reported issues after fixes are implemented.

• Verify that application features work according to the defined requirements.

• Work closely with developers to understand and troubleshoot issues.

• Perform basic API testing using tools such as Postman.

• Perform basic database validation using SQL when required.

• Maintain testing documentation and test reports.

• Participate in release and deployment testing.

• Assist in improving the overall QA and testing process.

• Learn and apply software testing best practices.

Required Skills
• Basic understanding of Software Testing and Quality Assurance.

• Understanding of SDLC and STLC.

• Basic knowledge of different testing methodologies.

• Ability to create clear and structured test cases.
