Job Opening – Senior Tax specialist

Function: Finance & Accounting – Global Finance Operations

Location: Chennai, India

Role Overview

Responsible for direct and indirect tax compliance, statutory financial preparation , intercompany transactions, and month‑end close activities across Worldline entities, ensuring adherence to IFRS, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage TDS compliance, advance tax workings, and support tax & transfer pricing audits
• Handle end‑to‑end GST compliance, including GST audits and annual returns (GSTR‑9 & 9C)




• Preparing computation of income and related working files and sharing for review to the tax consultant
• Income tax assessment - preparing data as per income tax notices received and sharing with tax consultant for review
• Prepare Statutory Financial statement related coordination with auditors
• Other Ad hoc activities as given by the Chief Accountant India and Regional Tax head
• Preparing tax audit schedules as per Form 3CD and sharing with tax auditors
• Preparing Income tax returns (ITR) and submit to consultant for ITR filing.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent or Semi qualified
• 7+ years of experience in accounting and tax compliance
• Experience in shared services / multinational workplace preferred
