Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer role based in Sriperumbudur. The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing automotive seating systems and interior components, including creating 3D models, detailed drawings,



and engineering specifications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, quality, and purchasing to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and compliant with global standards and customer requirements. Day-to-day tasks include conducting design reviews, supporting prototype and trial builds, analyzing test data, and implementing design improvements for performance, safety, and manufacturability. The Design Engineer will also support documentation, maintain design change records, and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives within the engineering team.
Qualifications

• Robust skills in mechanical design and engineering fundamentals, including knowledge of automotive seating systems or interior components.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and 3D modeling software (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, or similar) for component and assembly design.
