JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: PPC (Production Planning & Control) Executive
Department: Production Planning & Control (PPC) Reports To: Plant Head / Operations Head Function: Production Planning, Scheduling, Material Planning and Delivery Control

1. Job Purpose
To ensure effective production planning and control by coordinating with Sales, Engineering, Production, Purchase, Stores, HR, and Management. The role is responsible for meeting customer delivery commitments, ensuring timely availability of raw materials and bought-out items, optimizing resource utilization, and monitoring production progress from order receipt to Finished Goods (FG).

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Customer Focus and On-Time Delivery
• Ensure timely execution of customer orders and projects as per agreed delivery schedules.
• Monitor first article and new development items to ensure timely completion and movement to Finished Goods (FG).
• Track production orders and ensure parts are moved to FG at least one day before the planned dispatch date, wherever feasible.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering,



and Sales to resolve delivery-related bottlenecks.
• Monitor delivery performance and implement corrective actions to achieve the defined On-Time Delivery (OTD) target.

B. Raw Material and Bought-Out Item Planning
• Monitor raw material and bought-out item consumption against planned requirements on a weekly basis.
• Raise material requirements within 48 hours of receiving updates on current orders.
• Coordinate with Purchase and Stores to ensure timely procurement and availability of materials.
• Identify potential material shortages and communicate risks to the concerned departments in advance.
• Evaluate the possibility of using alternate available materials in consultation with the Technical Director and relevant stakeholders, subject to technical approval.

C. Capacity and Resource Planning

• Coordinate with Sales to obtain customer forecasts and future order requirements.
