The Senior Executive – Accounts & Taxation will be responsible for managing accounting operations, intercompany accounts, financial reconciliations, taxation compliance, and audit-related activities across Pan India operations. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, Chartered Accountants, and external consultants to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely statutory compliance, and smooth execution of accounting and taxation processes.

Location: Mumbai - the candidate must be based in Mumbai.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and finalization of intercompany accounts and balance sheets across Pan India operations.
• Handle direct and indirect expenses, including transportation, rent, administration, and credit card expenses.
• Prepare monthly salary entries and reconcile PF, PT, and ESIC payable ledgers.
• Prepare monthly TDS summary reports for tax return filing and payment.
• Download GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and ISD data from the system and coordinate with consultants for filing.
• Perform Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation for JFL and intercompany accounts.




• Coordinate with consultants for the preparation and filing of GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C.
• Conduct vendor ledger scrutiny, excluding airline vendors, and reconcile provisions for expenses and prepaid expenses.
• Arrange quarterly balance confirmations and calculate depreciation and lease liabilities.
• Prepare Unhedged Foreign Currency Reports (UHFCR), QRR 1 & 2, and FRR reports.
• Review and update job-closing status across Pan India operations.
• Assist in preparing documentation for income tax scrutiny and coordinate GST registration documentation with CA offices.
• Coordinate with Chartered Accountants and external consultants for statutory compliance and taxation matters.
• Handle tax audit reports for JFL and ensure timely completion of audit-related documentation.
