Role Description The Sds2 role at Axis EPC Inc.



is a full-time remote position focused on creating and managing steel detailing and structural designs using SDS2 software. On a day-to-day basis, the Sds2 professional will develop 3D models, prepare detailed fabrication and erection drawings, and coordinate connections and framing details for commercial, residential, heavy industrial, and petrochemical projects. The role involves reviewing design inputs, interpreting engineering specifications and codes, and collaborating closely with structural engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and constructability. The Sds2 specialist will perform regular quality checks, update models and drawings based on design changes, and support timely delivery of documentation aligned with client budgets and schedules. The position also includes maintaining organized project files, adhering to company standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of detailing workflows.
