Role Description
We are seeking an organized, proactive Student Services Administrator to join our collaborative Qualified Services team. In this role, you will support taught students in York Law School and the Department of Sociology through every stage of their academic journey, from induction to graduation.
You will serve as a key point of contact for students and academic staff, handling complex queries and managing core administrative processes. A significant focus of this position centers on assessment administration, requiring strong attention to detail and a clear understanding of university regulations and program structures.
With the ability to work to tight deadlines,
whilst managing conflicting priorities, the role-holder will be expected to provide high levels of customer service at all times with a friendly, approachable, ‘can-do’ attitude.
While primarily focused on taught programs within these two vibrant academic departments, this is a versatile role. You will work flexibly across team boundaries, offering support to colleagues during peak operational periods.
Some flexibility may be possible around working hours, and the Faculty operates a flexi time system. Some hybrid (remote) working may be accommodated following a successful probation period, and depending on the requirements and deliverables of the role.
Role
• Deliver end-to-end administrative support across the student lifecycle, providing approachable, high-quality customer service to students and staff. Ensuring student records are up to date and accurate.
• Coordinate and process student assessments and fee
