Framatome India is expanding its Engineering Services Team in Navi Mumbai.

The Senior Engineer – Mechanical role leads complex mechanical, piping stress, and hydraulic engineering activities for nuclear and industrial projects, ensuring technical excellence, compliance, and mentorship of junior engineers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership

• Guide Associate Engineers and Engineers in daily engineering tasks.

• Perform/Review and validate design and analysis work performed by other team members.

• Design and Analysis

• Conduct mechanical design and stress analysis for piping systems, equipment, and supports.

• Perform and Review hydraulic and sizing calculations for pipes, valves, and related components.

• Prepare and Review detailed design calculations and stress analysis reports.

• Develop and Review conceptual sketches and technical drawings to support engineering designs.

• Preparation and Review of Design Reports for Hydraulic calculations, Mechanical Design and Analysis.





• Preparation and Review of Design Basis Reports consisting of Mechanical Design for various systems.

• Estimation and Documentation

• Review RFQ (Request for Quotation) documents and prepare/review cost estimates.

• Maintain accurate time sheets and documentation of performed activities.

• Client Interaction

• Participate in meetings with Framatome overseas colleagues and other Indian/International customers to support technical discussions and project co-ordination.

• Safety and Compliance

• Execute work safely in adherence to EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards.

• Promote ergonomic best practices during computer-based tasks.

• Actively participate in mock safety drills.

Requirements
• Graduate Mechanical Engineer.

• 10+ years’ experience in the domain

• Knowledge of relevant ASME, CSA and other nuclear codes.
