Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Site Engineer for Solar Sites to join our growing renewable energy team. In this role, you will assist in the installation, testing, and routine maintenance of residential and commercial solar systems. This is an ideal position for a technical graduate looking to build a long-term career in the solar power sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Preparation & Installation: Assist in assembling solar mounting structures, racking systems, and safely mounting PV panels on rooftops or ground-mount structures.

• Wiring & Electrical Connections: Perform DC/AC wiring, cable laying, crimping, and connect solar panels to combiner boxes, charge controllers, inverters, and distribution boards under supervision.

• Testing & Commissioning: Help conduct basic electrical testing using multimeters and clamp meters to ensure proper voltage, continuity, and system performance before grid synchronization.

• Operation & Maintenance (O&M;): Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, panel cleaning, and troubleshooting of minor faults or inverter errors.

• Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to workplace safety guidelines,



utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and follow proper height-safety and electrical isolation (LOTO) procedures.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements

• Education: ITI (in Electrician, Wireman, Solar Technician, or Electronics) OR Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering.

• Experience: 0 to 2 years of hands-on or internship experience in solar PV installation or electrical contracting. Freshers are welcome to apply.

• Technical Skills:

o Basic understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring standards.

o Ability to read single-line diagrams (SLD) and technical manuals.

o Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (multimeter).

Personal Attributes & Physical Requirements

• Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting heavy equipment, standing for long periods, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights (rooftops).

• Work Ethic: Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to learn on the job.

• Mobility: Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
