Role Summary

The E-commerce Operations Manager acts as the bridge between digital storefront demand and fulfillment reality. While a general e-commerce manager focuses on marketing and driving traffic, an operations manager focuses on the internal logistics, platform mechanics, and efficiency needed to scale the business profitably.

- Order Fulfillment & Logistics: Manage picking, packing, shipping workflows, and coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners or courier services.
- Platform & Catalog Management: Oversee day-to-day operations on digital storefronts (such as Shopify, Amazon, or Flipkart), ensuring accurate product listings, pricing, and account health.
- Returns & Customer Experience: Handle return logistics, reverse logistics workflows, and coordinate with customer support to resolve delivery complaints.
- Data Analysis & Cost Control: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like shipping costs, fulfillment accuracy,

and gross merchandise value (GMV) to optimize operational budgets.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience managing e-commerce operations, logistics, or marketplace platforms (e.g., Amazon, Shopify).
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Order Management Systems (OMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and advanced spreadsheet tools (Excel/Google Sheets).
- Soft Skills: Solid problem-solving capabilities, cross-functional communication, and project management skills.
