Key Responsibilities1. Quantity Estimation

- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings and specifications.
- Calculate quantities of civil, structural, and finishing works.
- Verify material quantities and prepare quantity take-offs.

2. Billing & Measurements

- Prepare contractor RA bills and client running account bills.
- Verify subcontractor bills and site measurements.
- Prepare measurement sheets and reconcile billed quantities.

3. Cost Control

- Prepare project budgets and cost estimates.
- Monitor actual costs against the approved budget.
- Identify cost variations and suggest cost-saving measures.

4. Rate Analysis & Tendering

- Prepare rate analysis for construction activities.
- Obtain and compare vendor and subcontractor quotations.
- Assist in tender preparation and contract documentation.

5. Site Coordination

- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, procurement,



and accounts teams.
- Verify completed work quantities at the site.
- Track extra items, deviations, and variation claims.

6. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain BOQs, measurement books, billing records, and cost reports.
- Prepare monthly quantity and cost statements.
- Maintain records of work orders, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements.
- Required Qualifications & SkillsDiploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in quantity surveying, estimation, and billing.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and BOQ preparation.
- Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and rate analysis.
- Positive communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
