We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA + DevOps Engineer to support software quality assurance, API testing, database validation, and application deployment activities in Linux environments. This role combines hands-on manual testing with essential DevOps and operational responsibilities to ensure applications are reliable, functional, and ready for production.

The ideal candidate will have a good foundation in software testing, practical experience with REST APIs and SQL databases, basic Python scripting skills, and familiarity with Unix/Linux environments. You should be comfortable collaborating with developers and operations teams to identify defects, validate fixes, and support smooth application releases.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
- Understand functional requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and execution reports.
- Perform manual functional,



regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing of web applications and backend services.
- Test REST APIs using Postman or similar tools, validating request and response payloads, HTTP status codes, authentication, error handling, and business logic.
- Execute SQL queries to validate application data, perform database checks, and investigate data inconsistencies in MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Use Python scripting to develop small utilities, prepare test data, process logs, support API testing, and automate repetitive tasks.
- Assist with application deployments on Linux servers and perform post-deployment smoke tests.
- Execute Unix/Linux commands for file operations, permissions, process checks, service validation, environment verification, and log analysis.
