Role Description The Junior Draftsperson (Junior Draftswoman role title) will support the design team by preparing detailed architectural and structural drawings for building permits and approvals. This full-time, in office position in Ernakulam involves converting design concepts and sketches into accurate CAD drawings, updating plans based on feedback from senior designers and regulatory authorities, and ensuring that drawings comply with relevant building codes and local regulations.
The role includes organizing project documentation, coordinating revisions, and maintaining drawing standards and file management systems. The Junior Draftsperson will collaborate closely with senior staff, engineers, and other stakeholders to help move projects smoothly through the approval process and meet client timelines.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and basic architectural drafting tools.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and site plans with strong attention to detail.
