Skills And Competencies

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in banking, insurance, financial services, accounting, financial analysis, or financial data management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Solid written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and a desire to learn
• Experience analyzing bank or insurance company financial statements and knowledge of banking regulations and financial reporting practices (preferred)
• Working knowledge of SQL, data quality management tools, and structured data feeds (preferred)
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts,



with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, validates, and maintains financial data for Moody's Analytics BankFocus and InsuranceFocus products while delivering high-quality support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze, review, validate, and maintain bank and insurance financial data using sound financial and accounting principles
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, anomalies, and client-reported issues in a timely and thorough manner
• Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries related to financial content, data coverage, methodologies, and product functionality
• Explain financial spreading
