About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, data-driven SEO Manager to lead and execute our organic search strategy across a portfolio of high-traffic digital media and publishing brands.

Candidates with publishing experience need only apply. The ideal candidate understands how SEO works in a quick-paced editorial environment and can balance search visibility, traffic growth, content quality, Google Discover performance, and technical SEO. You will work closely with editors, writers, social teams, and senior leadership to identify growth opportunities and turn them into measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, rankings, visibility, and audience growth.
• Lead keyword research, search-intent analysis, topic planning, content optimization, and competitive analysis.
• Optimize editorial content for Google Search, Google Discover, News, and other relevant search surfaces.
• Identify opportunities for evergreen, trending, breaking-news, and high-volume search content.




• Conduct regular technical SEO audits and work with relevant teams to resolve issues affecting crawlability, indexation, site speed, Core Web Vitals, structured data, internal linking, and site architecture.
• Develop and maintain effective internal linking and content-clustering strategies.
• Monitor Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4 and other SEO tools to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
• Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, CTR, impressions, indexing, Discover performance, and other key SEO KPIs.
• Analyze competitors and identify content gaps and opportunities for improved search visibility.
• Work with editorial teams to establish SEO best practices and ensure content is optimized before and after publication.
• Create SEO guidelines, workflows, checklists, and training materials for writers and editors.
