Role Description This is a full time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Tulsipur. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications, verify prescriptions for accuracy, and ensure proper dosage, labeling, and storage of medicines. Day-to-day responsibilities include counseling patients on medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions, while maintaining detailed records of prescriptions and inventory. The role also involves coordinating with physicians, managing stock levels, checking expiry dates, and following regulatory and safety guidelines.



The Pharmacist is expected to uphold high standards of customer service, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
Qualifications

• Recognized degree or diploma in Pharmacy and valid registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant pharmacy council.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dosages, drug interactions, and standard treatment guidelines.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret prescriptions, maintain records, and manage inventory in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Effective communication and counseling skills for supporting patients with clear, respectful guidance on medication use.
• Commitment to ethical practice, attention to detail, and adherence to local regulatory and safety requirements.
• Basic computer skills for using pharmacy software or digital registers; prior experience in community or retail pharmacy is an advantage.
