Description:
Gujarat Flotex Private Limited is hiring a Civil Engineer to manage construction and expansion work at our textile manufacturing unit in Chhatral. You will coordinate with contractors, consultants and plant teams to deliver projects on time and to quality standards, with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, execute and monitor civil construction and expansion activities as per project plan
• Supervise excavation, foundations, RCC, PEB / structural steel, masonry, flooring, waterproofing and finishing work
• Oversee construction of plant buildings, utility structures, roads and drainage
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, quality and safety standards
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants and contractors
• Prepare BOQs, measurements, estimates and progress reports
• Monitor material requirements and contractor / vendor performance
• Verify measurements and certify contractor and vendor bills on time
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and utilities teams
• Enforce safety and statutory compliance
Requirements
• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.E. / M.Tech preferred)
• 5+ years in civil construction, preferably in industrial or manufacturing plants
• Experience in plant expansion and new construction projects
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office and construction documentation
• Positive understanding of IS codes, quality control and site safety
• Strong contractor management and billing skills
Good to have: PEB structures, industrial flooring, ETP / utility civil works, MS Project
Salary: As per experience and industry standards
