Position Overview
BBCL is looking for a Legal Manager to manage and support legal matters relating to real estate projects in Tamil
Nadu. The role will focus on property title validation, legal due diligence, drafting and reviewing real estate
agreements, property registration, and representation before relevant judicial and regulatory forums, including RERA.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct validation of property titles and comprehensive legal due diligence for real estate properties and projects.
• Draft and review Joint Development Agreements (JDA) under area-sharing and revenue-sharing arrangements,
outright purchase arrangements, and DM model transactions.
• Draft and review sale agreements and construction agreements for customers.
• Draft and review settlement agreements and other project-related legal documents.
• Represent the company before relevant judicial and regulatory forums, including RERA, as required.
• Coordinate and support property registration and related legal formalities.




• Verify and authenticate property and legal documents through relevant online portals and records.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Education: LL.B. / Bachelor of Law from a reputed university.
• Experience: 5–10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably with substantial exposure to the real estate
industry in Tamil Nadu.
• Regulatory knowledge: Strong knowledge of local planning regulations, land-use laws and applicable real estate
regulations in Tamil Nadu, including TN RERA rules and regulations.
• Language: Strong command of English, with the ability to read Tamil being mandatory.
Preferred Profile
• Solid understanding of real estate documentation, property transactions and title-related matters.
• Good drafting, documentation, negotiation and legal review skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with internal teams, consultants, customers and external
legal stakeholders.
