About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Wire Harness & Soldering Technician to own wire harness assembly, precision soldering, connector assembly, PCB rework and micro-level electronics assembly for our electronic systems and payloads. You will work closely with our electronics and integration teams. Your work must meet workmanship standards suitable for aerospace and defence hardware.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble, repair and modify wire harnesses and cable assemblies as per drawings and pin-outs
- Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, termination, soldering and connector assembly
- Work with fine-gauge wires (30–32 AWG and finer)
- Solder and desolder wires, components and connectors
- Carry out micro-level soldering and rework of SMD components and miniature connectors
- Assemble and rework board-to-board, wire-to-board, FFC/FPC,



header and other connectors
- Operate soldering stations, hot-air rework stations and related tools
- Perform continuity, short-circuit and basic electrical testing
- Read and follow wiring diagrams, pin-outs, assembly drawings and work instructions
- Maintain proper ESD practices and workmanship standards
- Inspect completed work for quality, reliability and proper cable dressing

Required Skills

- Robust hands-on experience in wire harnessing, soldering, desoldering and electronics rework
- Comfortable with fine-pitch SMD rework and fine-gauge wire under magnification
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, pin-outs and assembly drawings

Preferred

- Working knowledge of IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 (certification is a plus)
- Experience in aerospace, defence or precision electronics

Qualification ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or a related field

Selection process: Shortlisted candidates will complete a hands-on practical test (harness build, fine-gauge soldering and SMD rework) at our facility
