To ensure welding quality and compliance with applicable welding standards through welding process control, weld inspection, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). The candidate should possess CSWIP certification and knowledge of Ultrasonic Testing (UT).

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and control welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and other applicable welding processes.
- Perform weld inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Review and implement Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
- Ensure welder qualification and compliance with applicable welding codes and standards.
- Conduct or coordinate weld inspections and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), including Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
- Identify welding defects such as porosity, undercut, cracks, lack of fusion, and incomplete penetration.
- Prepare and maintain welding inspection reports, NDT reports, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve welding-related quality issues.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce welding defects and rework.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements,



ISO standards, and applicable welding codes.
- Support customer audits, third-party inspections, and quality assessments.

Required Skills & Certifications

- CSWIP certification – preferably CSWIP 3.1 Welding I

Experience
