Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Video Editor.

The Video

Editor will handle end-to-end post-production, including assembling raw footage, selecting the best takes, and creating polished edits aligned with creative briefs and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include cutting and sequencing clips, adding transitions, music, and sound effects, applying color correction and grading, and producing versions optimized for different platforms. The role also involves collaborating with producers, designers, and other stakeholders to refine concepts, incorporate feedback, and deliver on schedule.

The Video

Editor will manage project files,



adhere to naming and storage conventions, and maintain consistent quality across all video assets.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience managing projects from raw footage to final delivery.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with a solid understanding of exposure, color balance, and creating consistent visual styles.
- Ability to create Motion Graphics and integrate Graphics into video projects to enhance storytelling and brand recognition.
- Experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Solid understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, export settings, and optimization for social media, web, and other digital channels.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and incorporating feedback constructively.
- Previous experience in digital media, marketing, or content production is beneficial; a portfolio or reel demonstrating relevant work is required.
