Video Editor — Reels & Short-Form ContentWe’re looking for a creative video editor who can review raw footage, spot strong content opportunities, and turn clips into engaging reels. You should have a good eye for storytelling, pacing, and choosing audio that fits the content and our brand.
What you’ll do
- Review supplied clips and identify moments that could make compelling reels.
- Suggest reel concepts, hooks, and storylines based on the available footage.
- Select music, trending audio, or sound effects that match the subject, mood, and brand.
- Edit reels with robust openings, clean cuts, captions, and well-timed audio.
- Make thoughtful choices about transitions, colour correction, and sound quality.
- Stay up to date with short-form content trends and apply those relevant to our work.
- Collaborate with the team, incorporate feedback, and deliver edits on time.
- Ensure audio is cleared for the intended use and platform.
What we’re looking for
- A portfolio of reels or other short-form videos.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar software.
- Strong storytelling instincts and an understanding of what keeps viewers watching.
- The ability to develop ideas from raw clips without needing a detailed brief for every reel.
- Good judgement when matching visuals with audio.
- Attention to detail, clear communication, and reliable turnaround times.
