Role Description The Video Editor role at Ya Glob is a full time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Video

Editor will work closely with creative and marketing teams to edit raw footage into compelling video content for digital, social, and marketing campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and trimming clips, adding transitions and effects, syncing audio, performing basic color correction, and preparing videos for various platforms and formats. The role also involves collaborating on storyboards, integrating motion graphics and visual elements,



and maintaining brand consistency across all video assets.

The Video

Editor will be expected to meet project deadlines, take feedback constructively, and contribute ideas to improve video quality and viewer engagement.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with familiarity in working with raw footage and different video formats.

- Ability to perform Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance overall look and feel of content.

- Experience or interest in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, lower thirds, and visual elements.

- Basic proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop) is preferred.

- 0–1 year of relevant experience; internships, freelance projects, or a strong portfolio of personal work are highly valued.

- Good attention to detail, ability to follow creative briefs, and openness to feedback and iterative revisions.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site team environment.

- Relevant education in media, film, design, communication, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
