ROLE - Vice President - Finance

JOB LOCATION - Powai, Mumbai

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

- Robust expertise in FP&A;, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
- Proven experience in monthly MIS, management reporting, variance analysis and profitability assessment.
- Experience managing the overall finance function and partnering with senior leadership on business strategy and financial performance.
- Fundraising or investor-facing experience will be an added advantage.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the overall financial planning and analysis (FP&A;) function, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and long-term business planning to support strategic growth.
- Drive monthly MIS, management reporting, variance analysis and profitability reviews, providing actionable insights to the leadership team for informed decision-making.
- Take ownership of the overall finance function, overseeing financial planning,



reporting, cash flow management, working capital and financial controls, while partnering with the existing core accounting team.
- Build scalable financial processes, reporting frameworks and performance metrics to support business expansion and future organisational needs.
- Develop financial strategies to improve business profitability, optimise costs, enhance operational efficiency and support sustainable growth.
- Partner with the CEO and business leaders on financial performance, business planning, revenue projections and strategic initiatives.
- Lead financial governance, risk management and compliance, ensuring robust processes and accurate financial reporting across the organisation.
- Prepare the organisation for future fundraising by supporting investor reporting, financial modelling, due diligence, data readiness and coordination with potential investors and advisors.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

- CA / MBA Finance or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Relevant experience in finance leadership, preferably within logistics, technology-led or high-growth businesses.
