Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Travel Consultant role based in Chennai.

The Travel

Consultant will assist clients in planning and booking domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and curated itineraries. Daily responsibilities include understanding client preferences and budgets, recommending suitable destinations and packages, preparing detailed travel proposals, and confirming reservations. The role involves managing changes and cancellations, coordinating with suppliers and partners, and ensuring all travel documents and arrangements are accurate and timely.





The Travel

Consultant will also provide ongoing customer support before, during, and after travel to deliver a seamless and high-quality experience.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management, with the ability to design customized itineraries that align with client preferences and budgets.
- Experience handling Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including flights, hotels, ground transport, and package bookings.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Knowledge of domestic and international destinations, especially Indian and South Indian travel circuits, and familiarity with luxury and group travel segments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfort with travel booking platforms, GDS or online reservation tools, and basic office software.
- Prior experience in a travel agency, tour operator, or hospitality environment preferred; a diploma or degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is beneficial.
