- Bachelor's Degree: B.Sc with Mathematics as one of the main subjects, OR B.A. with Mathematics
- Minimum Marks: At least 50% aggregate in graduation. Some states/boards require 45% for reserved categories
- B.Ed Degree: Bachelor of Education is mandatory. Must be from an NCTE recognized institution
2. Additional Requirements
- CTET/TET: Must have qualified Central Teacher Eligibility Test Paper-II or State TET for upper primary level
- Subject Combination: Mathematics should be studied in all 3 years of graduation.
