Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise-scale AI platforms on AWS. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, Terraform, APIs, cloud security, IAM, and platform engineering with strong experience enabling AIML and Generative AI workloads.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain cloud-native AI platforms supporting GenAI, Machine Learning, and Agentic AI workloads
- Develop reusable platform components, self-service capabilities, and standardized deployment patterns
- Enable secure deployment and operation of LLMs, vector databases, AI APIs, and AI development environments
- Drive platform reliability, observability, scalability, and operational excellence
- Architect and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices
- Automate provisioning, configuration management, governance, and lifecycle management
- Implement CICD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, availability, resilience, and cost
- Design and develop enterprise-grade APIs and integration frameworks
- Integrate AI services with internal applications, data platforms, and third-party systems
- Build secure API gateways, authentication mechanisms, and service-to-service integrations
- Ensure API scalability, observability, governance, and security compliance
- Implement cloud security best practices across AWS services
- Design and manage Identity Access Management (IAM) RBAC, ABAC, federation, and zero-trust architectures




- Establish security guardrails, policy enforcement, governance controls, and compliance frameworks
- Conduct security reviews, threat assessments, vulnerability remediation, and audit readiness activities
- Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, and incident response capabilities
- Define SRE practices, SLAs, SLOs, and operational excellence standards
- Drive root cause analysis and continuous platform improvement initiatives
- Mentor engineering teams on platform engineering and cloud best practices

Requirements

- 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud architecture
- Deep expertise in AWS services, including VPC, EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, KMS, Secrets Manager, and Route 53
- Expert-level experience with Terraform
- Solid understanding of modular Terraform architecture and state management
- Experience implementing enterprise infrastructure automation frameworks
- Strong hand-on experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architectures
- Experience integrating enterprise systems through APIs
- Proficiency in API security standards, including OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and API Gateway implementations
- Advanced knowledge of AWS IAM, Identity Federation, SSO, RBAC, ABAC, Zero Trust Security, Cloud Security Posture Management, Secrets Management, and Encryption Key Management
- Experience supporting ML-AI platforms and AI application deployment
- Knowledge of GenAI ecosystems, LLM deployment models, vector databases, RAG architectures, and AI operations
- Experience integrating AI services, such as Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, or equivalent platforms
