The requirement
We’re looking for a skilled engineer or small team to design, build, and deliver complete LoRaWAN-based IoT monitoring systems, from hardware to software, for installation in real industrial plants. This is project-based freelance work. Each project has a defined scope, timeline, and fee agreed in advance, with further projects for the right person.

What you’ll build
Hardware
• IoT sensor nodes and data loggers built around LoRaWAN modules (schematic, PCB design, prototyping, and production-ready builds)
• Interfaces for industrial instruments: 4-20 mA, 0-10 V, RS-485/Modbus RTU,



pulse and digital inputs/outputs
• Low-power design for battery and solar-powered field devices
• Industrial-grade enclosures, protection (surge, reverse polarity, EMI), and weatherproofing suitable for plant conditions
• Gateway selection, configuration, and installation planning

Wireless data transmission
• LoRaWAN device and network setup for the India band (IN865)
• Network server configuration (ChirpStack, TTN, or similar), payload encoding/decoding, and device provisioning
• Range testing, signal optimization, and reliable data delivery in industrial environments

Software
• Embedded firmware for the devices (ESP32, STM32, or similar)
• Backend for data ingestion, storage, and alerts (MQTT, REST APIs, PostgreSQL or time-series database)
• Web dashboard for live readings, trends, alarms, and reports
• Integration with PLC/SCADA systems or customer platforms where required
