About the Opportunity JACOB ENGINEERS is expanding its Structural Steel Detailing and BIM team to support Indian and international engineering projects. We are looking for motivated and technically skilled Tekla Modellers and Steel Detailers who can contribute to high-quality 3D modelling, fabrication drawing Preparation.

Positions Available

Position A: Tekla Senior /Junior Modellers

Experience: 38 Years

Create 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.

- Model beams, columns, bracings, platforms, stairs, ladders, and handrails.
- Follow approved design drawings, project specifications, and modelling standards.
- Assist in generating GA drawings, assembly drawings, and single-part drawings.
- Coordinate with senior detailers and checkers to resolve modelling issues.

Position B: Tekla Senior /Junior Steel Detailer and Freshers can also apply

- Experience: 13 Years
- Develop accurate and detailed 3D steel models.
- Prepare GA, erection, assembly, and fabrication drawings.
- Generate material lists, bolt lists, and other required project deliverables.
- Understand structural connections, steel profiles, plates, bolts, and weld symbols.
- Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.




- Coordinate with checking teams and project engineers to close RFIs and comments.

Technical Skills Required

- Positive working knowledge of Tekla Structures.
- Knowledge of Basic AutoCAD and structural steel drawings.
- Understanding of steel fabrication and Erection requirements

. • Knowledge of GA drawings, assembly drawings, and single-part drawings.
- Familiarity with steel sections, plates, bolts, welds, and connection details.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Knowledge of Middle East, BS/EN, IS, or other applicable standards will be an advantage.
- Ability to work to project schedules and quality requirements.

- Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Projects
- Refineries and Process Plants
- Power Plants and Boiler Structures
- Pipe Racks and Industrial Structures
- Coal and Material Handling Systems
- Commercial and Infrastructure Steel Structures
- Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB)

Experience in US, UK, Australian, Middle Eastern, or other international projects will be an added advantage.
