Role Description The Technology Leadership role at Param Foundation is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for defining and executing the technology vision across science centres, innovation labs, history centres, and cultural centres, ensuring that all experiences are tech-enabled, reliable, and scalable. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading technology strategy and roadmaps, overseeing the design and implementation of interactive and immersive systems, and managing the integration of hardware, software, and content platforms.

The role involves collaborating closely with program leaders, educators, designers, and partners to translate educational and cultural goals into robust digital solutions and learning experiences.





The Technology

Leader will also manage vendor relationships, supervise technical teams, ensure cybersecurity and data privacy, and continuously evaluate emerging technologies to enhance engagement and impact.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in technology leadership, including setting technology strategy, managing implementation roadmaps, and leading cross-functional engineering or product teams.

- Strong background in software, platforms, or systems integration (e.g., interactive installations, web applications, learning platforms, or similar technology ecosystems).

- Hands-on experience with digital experience technologies such as multimedia systems, AR/VR, interactive exhibits, or IoT devices is highly beneficial.

- Proven ability to manage vendors and partners, negotiate technology contracts, and oversee budgets, timelines, and quality for technology projects.

- Experience in designing or supporting technology for education, museums, cultural centres, or innovation labs, with an understanding of learner and visitor experience design.

- Knowledge of information security, data privacy practices, and protected usage of technology for children, students, and general audiences.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with educators, artists, historians, and startup teams.

- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop diverse technical teams, fostering an inclusive, learning-oriented environment.
