Qualification: SSLC / PUC or equivalent (preferred)
1. Job Purpose
To learn and perform basic sewing operations under the guidance of experienced operators and supervisors while maintaining garment quality, production targets, and workplace safety.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Learn basic sewing machine operations and garment stitching techniques.
- Assist sewing operators in daily production activities.
- Follow instructions given by the sewing supervisor or line in-charge.
- Handle fabric and garment components carefully to avoid damage.
- Maintain the required quality standards during stitching.
- Identify and report stitching defects to the supervisor.
- Achieve daily production targets as per training and skill level.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping at the workstation.
- Follow company rules, safety procedures, and discipline.
- Participate in training programs to improve sewing skills and productivity.

- Stand or sit for extended periods as required by the operation.
- Comply with all company policies and safety guidelines.
Note: The Sewing Trainee is expected to learn sewing operations progressively and perform assigned duties under the supervision of experienced staff.
