Senior SRE & DevOps Architect

Kestra is seeking an experienced Senior SRE & DevOps Architect to join our Advisor Platform Architecture & Engineering organization. In this role, you will design, implement, and evolve contemporary DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering capabilities that improve software delivery, operational resilience, and developer productivity across the enterprise.

You will work closely with Software Engineering, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Product teams to build scalable cloud platforms, automated delivery pipelines, observability solutions, and reliability practices that support Kestra's Advisor Platform and Home Office applications.

What You'll Do

- Design and implement modern DevOps and Platform Engineering solutions that simplify software development, deployment, and operations.
- Build and enhance Internal Developer Platform (IDP) capabilities using technologies such as Backstage, Service Catalogs, reusable templates, and self-service automation.
- Develop reusable CI/CD pipelines and engineering standards across technologies including .NET, APIs, Azure, Salesforce, Sitecore, Power BI, databases, and containerized applications.
- Partner with engineering teams to implement GitHub Enterprise standards, branching strategies, repository governance, and software delivery best practices.
- Design and develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Bicep, Terraform, ARM Templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Enable self-service infrastructure provisioning, deployment automation, environment management, and operational tooling.




- Implement and mature Site Reliability Engineering practices including SLI/SLO frameworks, error budgets, incident management, operational readiness, and service resiliency.
- Design and deploy enterprise observability solutions leveraging Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and KQL.
- Build automated monitoring, alerting, service health dashboards, and operational insights to improve visibility and reduce mean time to detect (MTTD) and resolve (MTTR).
- Partner with application and infrastructure teams to improve reliability, scalability, performance, and availability of critical business services.
- Support Disaster Recovery (DR), business continuity, performance testing, capacity planning, and reliability validation initiatives.
- Architect secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure platform solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Automate deployment, configuration management, compliance validation, and operational processes through modern engineering practices.
- Implement deployment strategies including blue-green deployments, canary releases, feature flags, and automated rollback capabilities.
- Work closely with Cybersecurity teams to embed DevSecOps controls, vulnerability scanning, compliance automation, and security best practices within delivery pipelines.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps, SRE, and Software Engineering teams.
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices and reliability culture across the organization.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, product partners, and leaders to solve complex technical and operational challenges.
- Contribute to platform roadmaps, technology standards, reference architectures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
