Job Title: Team Member- Information Technology

Reporting To: Lead- Information Technology

Job Purpose:

To support the IT team in ensuring reliable operation, maintenance, and optimization of IT infrastructure and systems across the solar cell manufacturing plant and project. This role contributes to seamless business operations, data security, and technology enablement, driving efficiency and innovation in alignment with organizational goals..

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

· Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware, software, and network systems.

· Provide first-level technical support to plant users for IT-related issues.

· Monitor and maintain network connectivity, servers, and data storage systems.

· Ensure cybersecurity measures and compliance with IT policies and standards.

· Support ERP systems (SAP) and other business applications for smooth functioning.

· Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and incident reports.

· Participate in system upgrades, patch management, and backup processes.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT solutions with plant operations.

· Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related tasks under guidance.

· Engage in continuous learning and training on emerging IT technologies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

· IT system uptime (%)

· Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR) for IT incidents

· Compliance with IT security and backup protocols

· User satisfaction score for IT support

· Successful implementation of IT projects and upgrades

Qualifications

· Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Certifications/ Trainings

· Certified in Networking / System Administration (e.g., CCNA, MCSA)

· Cybersecurity Awareness Training

· SAP ERP Basics (preferred)

Experience:





· Experience: Minimum 06–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and support within manufacturing or process industries

· Preferred: Exposure to automation systems, ERP integration, and cybersecurity in industrial environments

Skills & Competencies:

Working Conditions:

· This role will be carried out within a manufacturing plant environment located near Rajkot.

· Location: This role is based at our manufacturing facility located near Rajkot.

· Work Environment: The position operates primarily within a plant setting, which may involve exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.

· Work Schedule: Standard working hours with occasional requirements for extended hours based on operational needs. Shift-based work may be applicable depending on the role and department.

· Travel Requirements: Minimal travel is expected; however, occasional visits to vendors, training centers, or other company locations may be required.

· Safety Gear: Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as helmets, safety shoes, and ear protection is mandatory in designated areas.
