Job Summary

Akash Cable Corporation is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, account reconciliations, GST and TDS compliance, and statutory documentation. The ideal candidate should have robust accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with financial records, and the ability to coordinate with auditors and ensure timely statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Record and maintain purchase, sales, receipt, and payment entries accurately.

- Reconcile bank statements and customer and vendor accounts.

- Record cash vouchers, GPay transactions, and vendor payments.

- Prepare invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.

- Handle day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts.

- Manage GST accounting, reconciliations, and GST return-related activities.

- Calculate TDS, maintain records, and ensure timely payments and statutory filings.

- Coordinate with auditors for audits, account finalisation, and statutory compliance.

- Maintain supporting documents, vouchers,



and financial records systematically.

- Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts and follow up on pending entries.

- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements and filing deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing, trading, or cable industry.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

- Thorough knowledge of GST regulations, reconciliations, and return filing.

- Practical experience in TDS calculations, payments, and filings.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- Ability to perform bank reconciliation and customer/vendor ledger reconciliation.

- Experience in invoice preparation, credit/debit notes, and payment processing.

- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- High level of accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail.

- Ability to coordinate effectively with auditors, vendors, and internal teams.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: 40,000 60,000 per month.

- Annual CTC: 4.8 LPA 7.2 LPA.

- Work Location: Parry's Corner, Chennai.
