As a Product Configuration Engineer , you will be an individual contributor working with a team of people who support the design automation across Mining products in the areas of Proposal, Pricing documents, along with product optimisation

Your responsibilities
- You will be responsible for designing & developing product models in Tacton Configurator Studio
- Mapping the product models using Tacton Design Automation for Solid Works.
- You will be responsible for Modeling & Detailing in Solid Works.
- Analyse the work content and estimation of drafting hours required to complete the task with available inputs.
- Positive understanding of CAD automation & prepare the 3D models & drawings based on the given product structure.
- Supports the maintenance and improvement of the existing Model & drawings from an automation perspective.
- Interact with team members for clarification of product design.
- Ensure compliance with specification requirements.
- Maintaining the BOM structure in Enovia.
- Maintain the productivity and efficiency of the team.
- Ensure error-free documentation with adherence to the guidelines defined on design automation.
- Ensure all the preliminary activities are covered in the model & drawings for design automation.
- Constantly improving technical skills and keeping updated on the latest developments in the design automation field.
What you bring
- 6 to 8 years of Hands-on experience in part modelling, assembly, and Drawings (Solidworks mandatory).
- Hands-on experience in Configurations & design tables.
- Hands-on experience in Autocad 2d drawings.
- Shall have good knowledge of design automation tools.
- Knowledge of Tacton design automation is a plus.
- knowledge in Solidworks API is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Machine design.
- Good interpersonal skills and communication.
- Good at estimating time and effort for a given task.
